Side Effects

Jaundice and liver dysfunction (reversible), GI disturbances, IV venospasm, haemolysis, hypocalcaemia, SC/IM.
Tissue necrosis.
Topical: Rashes and irritation.


Skin infections caused by staphylococci, Streptococci, Corynebacterium minutissimu, propionobacterium, acnes and other organism sensitive to Fusidic acid.

Contra Indications

Hypersensitivity, severe hepatic failure.
Contraindicated during lactation.


Neonates and pregnancy.
