Side Effects

GI intolerance, rash, rarely jaundice, thrombocytopenia oedema.

Indications

Analgesic, antipyretic, dysmenorrhoea, rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, musculo skeletal disorders, soft tissue injuries, tooth extraction, post-partum and post operatively, acute gout.
Juvenile idiopathic arthritis.

Contra Indications

Active peptic ulcer, GI bleeding.
Pregnancy and lactation.
Hypersensitivity.
Neonates with congenital heart disease.

Caution

Asthma, bleeding disorders, cardiovascular diseases and those receiving coumarin anticoagulants.
Aspirin/anti-inflammatory induced allergy.
Renal or hepatic disorders, CV disease.
